The Pic du midi observatory : at the top of the Pic du Midi at an altitude of 2887 meters, the panorama of the Pyrenees and southern Great Plains is unforgettable. Dedicated since 1880 to explore the universe, the Pic du Midi is still a hotbed of observation and research. Cable car to take flights from La Mongie.
Médous Caves : located between Bagneres de Bigorre and Sainte Marie de Campan, Médous caves, of an incomparable richness, were discovered in 1948 and are among the most beautiful natural wonders of France. They have many stalactites, stalagmites, eccentric, or columns gours and petrified waterfalls .... In addition,on the rock from which springs the resurgence of the Caves, the virgin appeared to a young shepherd in the valley.

Tarbes, capital of Bigorre : at the gates of the National Parc of Pyrénées, at 30 minutes of the first ski resorts but also a city of rivers and plains, Tarbes offers many activities. Tarbes has unexpected charms. The Massey Garden (park of the nineteenth century), Museum of deportation, the home of the horse or the birthplace of Marshal Foch are not to be missed.
Lourdes and miraculous cures : Lourdes is the most famous cities in the Pyrénées. This mythical city imbued with spirituality will delight you. The Aquarium of the Pyrenees (RN21 towards Tarbes) invites visitors to discover the wealth of regional ecological heritage (cold water). The course takes place in the cycle of water, from mountain stream through the slough to Japanese pond.
